Hey, so I'm feeling generous, and I feel EA giving people who buy extra stuff an advantage in game is unfair. If you are one of those people who is considering buy the $30 Special Forces expansion just for the unlock, don't. All you need is a friend who owns the SF expansion to finish ONE round on a SF map on your account. If you don't trust them too much I think you can just change your password for them, and change it back after they are done. [If any of this confuses you, just e-mail (dejavood0o42@gmail.com) or IM me @ DeJaVood0o, I've been know to confuse people when I post] Once your friend has done this, it flags your account as a "SF-enabled" account, so you don't ever need to play it again.
NOTE: YOU CAN USE YOUR "SF-Unlocks" for SF or BF2 guns!
NOTE 2: YOU MUST HAVE THE BF2 GUN BEFORE GETTING THE SF UPGRADE [as in you need to unlock the Assault G3 [img]http://static.bf2s.com/game-images/unlocks/1/22.png[/img] before unlocking the F2000[img]http://static.bf2s.com/game-images/unlocks/1/88.png[/img]
NOTE 3: IF YOU DO THIS BEFORE YOU ARE A SERGEANT, YOU WILL ONLY RECIEVE ONE UNLOCK [one for Lance Corporal, one for Corporal]
Basically, if you were to do this as a Private or PFC, you would recieve ONE unlock as L CPL [img]http://static.bf2s.com/game-images/ranks/rank_2.gif[/img], ONE unlock as CPL[img]http://static.bf2s.com/game-images/ranks/rank_3.gif[/img], TWO unlocks as any of the higher ranks [if you didn't do this you would just get ONE for each] until you have all of the guns [EA also has given out two free unlocks to existing accounts (and maybe new ones, IDK) and may be adding more with Euro Forces. I'm not even going to try factoring that stuff in]
Now, these unlocks may be used to get EITHER SF OR ORIGINAL unlocks, however as stated above, you need the original unlock of each kit before getting the SF unlock.
There is currently no SF (or 'second') unlock for the Anti-Tank or Sniper kits.
Also, if you do this as a rank of SGT or above, you also get instantly recieve the amount of unlocks you would have recieved had you done this as a Private, PFC, L CPL, or CPL.
Now, as I said, I'm feeling generous, so if you are too lazy to find one or have no friends with SF, just e-mail (DeJaVood0o42@gmail.com) me your account name + password [as was said I believe you can change it first and then change it back after I flag your account] and I'll help you out unless I get so many requests that I can't complete them all. [I doubt this will happen, since this is the internet, and most people aren't comfortable with trusting a complete stranger, even if they did just write this whole damn thing]
