hey, my computer keeps on turning off when i play CoD4. it plays WoW and BF2 fine but CoD it turns off when im in a round?

any idea Karma involved

Sounds like an overheating problem to me. Try checking the temperature of your CPU and GPU if you can before it happens.

Ouch, i fell sorry for you.

Seriously though mine kept crashing on COD4, so i simply updated my drivers and it works fine now. If you have directX 10 card, you still need to update directX 9 apparently, which is what i had to do.

it seems to just be working now :S didnt change anything just left it for 30-40mins (it was still on) and now it works. thanks for the info tho !!

Is it easier to check temperature on ATi card than it is on Nvidia ?? WTF! 3 clicks and i can see the temperature of my 7900GTO !
