I can't believe that the FBI of all bureaus doesn't have standardised practices set up with all the major carriers in situations like these. In my profession, I'm directly involved with these things, and while I can't really talk about it, it's typically a -lot- more organised and customised than having the government branch doing the tapping set up on a billed customer connection. That's really a terrible oversight.
