Get a 500w PSU then, just to make sure. I never reccomend anything below 500w.

Right. Im already getting a 500w PSU since its only like 10$ more than a 450w. All I need is a decent motherboard and external HD. Or would it be cheaper since Im already doing all this crap to buy an internal HD and stick it in the case instead?

(on the HDD) It depends how much space you want. I say go with an internal though.

Ive got the odd 300ish dollars if Im lucky enough. Ill just trust that the money will knock on my door when I need it

Like I said, by the time I can get a new PC Ill either get a 780i/790i or X48. But Ill probably get that mobo so I can sell it for epic profitz later. This will be over $450 for sure but, if there isnt anything cheaper it will have to do.. Hows this for an HD

I copied this off newegg so its not really neat. I need the ink for sure, along with the extra USB thing, and the mousepad because mine is really, really, crap. Anything that could be replaced with something cheaper on there?

This would be so much easier if we were in the Star Trek era and I could pirate a new PC from the ship computer.

Hmm. Unless something falls through I dont think Ill be able to get the case I wanted and Ill have to settle for something cheap that I wont be able to reuse. Ill think about that later, right now the motherboard is the problem, the P35 doesnt support pentium 4 so Ill have to go for something else.

If anyone can find one quicker than me:

Has to be compatible with Pentium 4 Prescott

Has to not be a piece of shit, Im not exactly an expert on BIOS settings in fact ive never seen the BIOS of this computer due to shitty gateway so this would have to be configured fine at the default settings. Id really like it under $100 Under $75 would be even better. Oh and none of that MicroATX shit that seems to be everywhere on newegg for some odd reason. Im buying a big case so a mini motherboard isnt going to cut it.
