If somebody will teach me how to take a picture and load it into my computer and put it up here I'll take a shot of my humidor. It's handmade by an Amish company, and it is about 4 feet high, 3 feet deep, and 3 feet wide. Has a glass top, a lock of course, and the humidification unit is electric. I only have to put water in it about once every 6 months. I love it. They're pretty steep at $3,500, but if you're a cigar person, I highly recommend it. Great looking piece of furniture and will keep more cigars than you'll ever own in perfect condition. Mine probably isn't 1/3 full.
Personal favorites:
I used to love Royal Jamaica Maduros before they quit making that wrapper.
Partagas #1 is my standard smoke.
For a cheapo ($5 a piece) I really like the Sungrown Rocky Patel
I also really like the Spanish Rosado by Partagas. It's a nice mid-afternoon semi-light smoke.
Some of the CAOs are okay.
Man I just realized how boring I am. I have probably 25 different kinds of cigars in my humidor, and really I only smoke about 4 of them, and three of those are Partagas, the Rosado, the #1, and the Especial (in the black tube).
I resolve to try some different shit tonight.
Good topic.
By the way, don't ruin your whiskey with Coke. If you want a glass full of sugary syrup, just drink a Coke. Get yourself a good whiskey you like and drink it neat, on the rocks, or with water and rocks. Ruining booze with soft drinks is for chicks.
