BF2S Forums Blackwater CS gassed US troops accidentally.

We should throw them out and increase the pay of real soldiers as a way to compensate for loss of personnel.

Dont know about the US but our soldiers get paid good. $45,000pa and on deployment you get a bonus, 6 months for an Aussie in Iraq gets you $75,000 Untaxed.....

we dont get taxed but, depending on rank and family status, you might see $45,000 or a little bit more in a 12 month deployment.   I made a little bit less than $20,000 in my deployment, but I was lower enlisted, single, living in the barracks before mobilized and unmarried.  You get paid more if you are married and/or living off post.

what kind of armored vehicle did I see with the Australian flag in Baghdad when I was in country?  similar to a Bradley or a LAV-25.  I honestly dont remember whether it was tracked or wheeled.

ASLAV Just the Aussie version of the LAV-25 that or a Bushmaster, They are putting MK19's on them fuckers now...

im pretty sure its basic soldier tasks.   But i was an Infantryman, we train separately from the POGies.

Cool, We have seperate Training from the Pouges to, but recruit training every one learns the basic soldier skills.  I just checked out the AT-4, we use the M72 LAW but with a changed name....   I want an AT-4.....

We got basic first, which is REALLY basic, just C7 shooting and grenades. This is for everybody, POGies included. After that is training for your specific task, and that's where the fun stuff happens like MINIMI, Panzerfaust, AT-4, and grenade launchers -- if you're infantry.

EDIT: Also Blackwater seem like a bunch of dicks.
