The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
I seen a video once that some pranksters were messing with car alarms at different car dealers and parking lots. Real noisy and funny.... But what they did at CES is not nice at all. One reason is that I'm attending 4 different shows in these two upcoming months, and I know I'd be pissed off if someone messed with our equipment. Especially my boss. Still..... it's funny. I know a guy that went to CES and actually witnessed some monitors turning off while in a presentation. Heh heh...poor bastards.
