I unlocked it yesterday as one of the freebies... I've found that even when I'm standing on top of a prone person, it takes 3 to 7 shots to kill. o.0
yeah i agree the dao is a monster. when u come close to someone just jump (dont bunnyhop cause they r pussies just jump once) then unload a clip onto the sucker.
I've never played AT before I unlocked my precious DAO... the MP5 sucked bigtime. I couldn't hit a damn thing with it on distance. Even at close range I needed to unload a full clip to get me a kill.
Now, the combination of DAO-12, pistol and ofcourse AT rocket is one of my alltime favourites.

I think I'll get the DAO next unlock, since I can't even get basic AT combat with the damn MP5... I wish I got it instead of the M95
i must agree with this thread, the dao does rule and i seem to have made my finger one of the fastest in my clan at opffloading rounds with this gun, so fast in fact that some have said it sounds like the g3 firing
but yeah this gun rules, you can even take down enemy from med range if you shoot a couple well placed shots to the head, or round about there, karky is perfect for this gun because of the alleys and stuff, but once in the open you better get dam good at shotoing infantry with the rockets!

I still don't like it. I get killed by it alot, but the pump shotties are the best IMO.

i remember when this game came out. for about two weeks the M95 was like the most popular unlock. then people saw the light of the DAO. lol.
this gun is the best choice for an unlock in my opinion. it is far greater than the guns before it.
the jackhammer is also a great shotgun because of the rapid fire of it and all, but the only downside is the 7 shot magazine? i mean COME ON! thats just a joke really,
Because I play a lot of AT the DAO was one of my first unlocks. Great weapon for close combat, mediocre at mid distances...your a dead man trying to use it at range.

DAO takes 2 shots to kill at close range (body armour or not). Further than 5M away it takes more.
The DAO\S12K\Jackhammer all have the exact same pellet spread and damage, only differences are ROF\reloading\ammo capacity.
I love the ROF of the jackhammer but I hate how it reloads a whole clip and takes forever to reload. If it reloaded 1 shell at a time like the DAO it would be awesome.
For engys I prefer the USA\PLA pump actions since they kill in 1 shot up close.
