Make sure you dont do this
put water in a saucepan and put it on the stove, wait until the water boils, put the eggs in, turn over the egg timer, turn off the stove once the time has run out, take eggs out.
(no egg timer is available to you) Thats the same method as I would use though. (no egg timer as not every household has one, I use my egg timer to help teach my Daughter how long to brush her teeth for)twiistaaa wrote:

This reminds me of a rice cooker. Rice is easy to cook, just like an egg, but you do need to time it right.
If I had one as a present I'm afraid I would ebay it.
Nope .. because my shere presence brings any egg to a perfect boil so i don't need oneLieutenant_Jensen wrote:

I normally bring a pan of water to the boil, then bring the water down to a simmer. Place fresh free range eggs in the water for three minutes (I like my yolks really runny). But since I didn't have a timer I would have to guess
Another way to test if an egg is fresh or not is to place it in a glass of cold water. If it sinks it is fresh, if it floats it isn't.
I enjoy cooking, I find it therapeutic. Not that I'm much good at it yet.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
You might compare my awsm powers to Luke just as you compare a 1 megawatt searchlight to a 2 watt flashlightbulb with me being the kickass searchlight of course1927 wrote:

That'll be the ol air pocket mentioned above, works just as well using this method only you dont get told your "Sucking Eggs". As for cooking if you enjoy it you will succeed, that goes for anything you enjoy doing. I been cooking for 20 years now and will earn more of a reputation as I grow older.KILLSWITCH wrote:
