When you press Effects to go through the different "Stereo... Stereo X 2" etc... what one is best? I have a coax cable and Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty 7.1 Champion Series Sound Card and have it on "PLII Music"max wrote:

PLII will simulate a 5.1 stream from stereo which is great for films/games that only support 2.0.
For music it also works but it tends to mess too much with it for my liking. I usually put it on stereo x2 which just duplicates the front 2 channels to the back to give me better volumes at lower amplification (and thus better quality, as in speakers at 50% sound better than at 100%, if that makes sense)

It's just music sounds better on my Icemat Serbia headset.
And for £340 of sound stuff I would not expect that so trying to work out where I've went wrong.
