BF2S Forums Unlocks

Just get whatever class you're gonna play with the most. No sense in getting the anti-armor gun if you're only gonna be that class when a tank is camping.

I vote G36C.

IMO the Special Ops unlock (G36C) is REALLY an upgrade! This gun is almost perfect...
K, u have to deal with these heavy armored guys.....
The Jackhammer, if u get used to it, rockz da house in CQC.
The DAO-12 is the best in CQC, imo.....12 shots with the power of a Jackhammer....blows a$$!
So, choose the unlock of the kit u prefer atm. I would recommend the G63C.

I love my G36C however there are only two complaints with it. For one it's a Spec Ops gun without a scope. Granted it's good at long range and medium for single shot sniping but a scope similar to the medic gun unlock would have been nice for long range shots. I'm used to the iron sights now but it's the principle of the thing. Also I believe that the damg. is just a tad too lacking. 2 or 3 more damg. per shot would make a world of difference between 5-6 well placed shots to about 3-4. When attempting to hit someone on the move it's just a pain to shoot them several times and still see them get away.

I also unlocked the DAO-12 for my second unlock because I do play AT quite a it. Often Spec Ops and Anti-Tank trade up for total time played most. Granted on maps that I need long range shooting I don't use the DAO however on city maps where I basically attempt to get into close positions to take out vehicles its nice to be able to turn a corner and take people out quickly with the DAO. Also when I die and I know I am going to respawn into a firefight I also choose the DAO for that added close combat punch.

Don't really know what my next unlock is going to be quite yet. Since I don't play the other classes as much as I probably should unless the situation calls for it. So we'll see.

Using my first unlock to get the SA80 (L85A1) was an unlock wasted (not that the gun sucks, but I only got it bc it was of the kit I played most)
I unlocked the DAO second and don't really use it much now, but I will when I get sergeant, bc then I won't really care about points and will be more concerned with having fun, and the AT gun is fun, and the DAO adds to it
same with the G36C, I'm unlocking it instead of the PKM next bc I find blowing things up with c4 fun, and need a gun that will defend me better

I'm about 200 pts away from my second stripe, I already have the DAO (which is pretty neat when in CQC), I'm really not sure what to take next as the most kit I play is the AT .. I think I ought to be more of a 'team player' and the engineers kit looks inviting but I realy don't know what to do. I don't want to waste an unlock, I've been there before

Looking at my stats I think I need the 'shoulder launch missile' with strategic nuclear capabilities, but would that be cheating

I could try the sniper's weapon but I get vertigo .... all in all, I'm a bit stuck.

Take the pkm, its i nice machine, i can snipe pep with it, suppres the shit outta ennemys and kill easily at close range

G36c is one of the best guns in the game, i would get that.
