For all the kissing and making up between the Obama and Clinton camps, identity politics is still very much a part of the campaign and it will be for the duration. Edwards is first asked by a “progressive woman” voter who emailed her question in why she shouldn’t resent having to choose between “the first viable woman candidate” and the “first viable African-American candidate” since the Dem candidates’ policies are all so similar. And the follow-up question, well, just takes it.

The answer is clearly in the hair.

I'm not so sure.

As the economy continues to tank, the reality of UH including mass amnesty may just get people to vote repulican.

Obama has a chance. I really do not believe America would want to listen to Hillary speak for the next eight years.

Not a single media outlet even considers him a contender anymore. The GOP race is still pretty open but the DEMS are locked in on two.

My point is that not voting because they look French, are of African heritige (or should I just say is black?), or female is IMO childlike. Voting may be a right for you, but for many others it is an extreme privilege.

Once you look past that and can base the candidates value on the merits he or she posses the better. America deserves better.

And my point was exactly that, plus the irony of a party based on 'tolerance' currently haggling over race and sex.
