Anyone know why my internet has slowed badly?

All i have changed is the router secure setting which i know shouldnt have affected anything, but the slowdown started before i did this anyway.

My ping has jumped maybe from 50-60 on a uk server to 70-100
Sloow loads on websites sometimes
Have to restart the internet alot

Any tips on locating this problem?

mines doing this 2day as well, well fucking gay.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

Perhaps your ISP is oversubscribing more than they should be. You could call them and ask if that sort of behaviour is expected in your area.

I ain't on wireless but mine has been running shitty for a few weeks now, slowww web page loading, downloads at like only 20 kbps despite being connected at 6mb...
Fucking pissing me off, e-mailed 'em and in one they said my line was only 2mbps bullshit! But what do expect from shitty Tiscali...
