Road Runner has this special for a 6mb Cable Modem connection for $29.99 for 6 months. I haven't noticed a vast difference from my previous 3mb DSL connection.
Of course, I never got serious into pings until recently when my fun level was heightened.

Verizon isnt bad....
I use Comcast digital Cable at school (29.99 for first 6 months), and have Verizon DSL at home.
As far as game play goes, not a whole lot difference IMO, but i like the cable a lot better.
