LOL and there was me thinking theat Kelvin was a measure of temperature!!mikkel wrote:
Well, if you want to be anal, throughput is always measured in bits. Also, upper case K is the SI unit descriptor for Kelvin, and neither storage nor throughput are typically measured in thermodynamic temperature scales.ceslayer23 wrote:
ok wtf i hate when people use Mb (megabits) when they want to say MB (megabytes). And the same thing for Kb and KB. just stick to KB, MB, and GB, its a lot easier
And i also though that K was just an abbreviation of Kilo mathematical term
LOl probably gonna get ripped for that!!
lower-case k is for kilo. And there are differences as to whether or not it's upper or lower. M is mega, but m is milli. n is nano, but N is Newtons...sinnik wrote:

At last I got my fiber working.
Not too happy with the result even though it's very good.
Should be better...

WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED
I was about to say, you dont go to Cambridge!
Would that be the J-man?
Smaller infrastructure allows this. Japan is very high in comparison to everyone else also.Aries_37 wrote:

WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED
Just got it and I am supprised that it cost less with a 100/100 Mbit line every month than I payed for my 8 Mbit ADSL connection.
The bad thing is that it cost about €2650 (about 4000 US $ I guess) to get it installed in my house
I love how this thread basically tells people where you live.
Same as me with optonline. I hate it. Verizion FiOS is 10x better.
I found a fix for this if you are still getting it with your fios connection.killer21 wrote:
I get that too.. I know I have an upload speed of 15 megs but sometimes it says 3 to 4 mbps. The majority of the time, however, I do get the actual 15 mbps.Kmarion wrote:

The up is a little low though.
I ran this through my registry.
The up is considerably better.
