I'm in the market and wondering which Video Card I should get.
Either this BFG 8800GT
this eVGA 8800gts 640mb
or this, XFX 8800GT for $50 cheaper.

As far as I can tell brands mean nothing, and the GT is miles better then the 640MB GTS. So get the cheapest GT.

i have the expert vision sonic gt ...its stock overclocked....runs everything ive chucked at it on all high

XFX, by far. Cheapest and best.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
