I think you guys are picking the bands based on individual instrumental talent. Try choosing based on how they would sound together as a group. Um, I am not quite sure that Clapton and Iron Maiden would mix nicely, unless of course you are smoking some of ATG's devil lettuce.

Yup, and I wonder how many here saw John Bonham live.  I tellya, nobody.  Deez is damn right.

How the hell is 10 winning?  Anyone in their right mind knows that Clapton, Iron Maiden, and Bonham should not be anywhere near each other in a band.

Mine is very similair to Serge's. I am a HUGE fan of AIC but I honestly Layne's vocals went with his band and although he could sing with anyone, the thought of Cantrell not being in the mix just seems wrong to me. I chose Niki Sixx because he is very versataile. And Lars on drums...eh, he is a great drummer don't get me wrong I just feel that Peart is way ahead of most drummers and could offer any style percussion to any group.

I picked Lars coz I love Metallica, not the last album, lol.  They managed to waste Trujillo's talent in that one.  St. Anger is a shame for Metallica.  And I picked Layne coz AIC is my favorite band ever.  I miss him everyday.  Fucking drug addicts.
