movie sucked
I saw it and thought it was hilarious! I don't know why everyone is saying it sucks
i also saw it tonight. i liked it. Juno is cute and was funny. Only problem i had with it was when she was talking to Marc and said her dad was a big ancient rome/greek nerd so he named her after Zeus's wife, Juno. Juno was never his wife. Hera was. maybe i just misunderstood what she said, or i'm being ignorant of some facts i am unaware of.mtb0minime wrote:

thanks for clearing that up
Was meant to on Friday past. Went out with a friend, we had dinner in the city, and left the restaurant with 15 minutes to get to the movie (allegedly a short drive away). She's had her license for like a month, and I don't have mine yet, so none of us really know our way around the road system in Perth that well. We had a vague idea of where we were going, but she didn't pack a road map (which somehow turned into my fault). We took the wrong bypass, and ended up heading out of the city centre. We CBF turning around and instead saw Cloverfield at Carousel
For which I was grateful. Because feel good comedies really don't make me feel good (and it wasn't really fair considering that we saw the Darjeeling Limited las time, which bored the bollocks off of me, and which SHE picked. So it really was my turn)

Juno has some random, weird songs in it which actually conveys the random, complex goofeyness of the movies theme
cant really describe it, but the music works really well
micheal cera was great in superbad so i can't wait to see juno.
a film with both cera and page has to be great!

check out hard candy, also starring ellen page
Very good movie. I disagree that you have to be older to enjoy this movie. One of the best comedies I saw lately together with Superbad. Been a fan of Ellen for a while now (hell yeah she'e cute) and Michael Cera is very funny. Watch Arrested development!
Something is wrong with her face.

Yeah, it's not in my crotch.iNeedUrFace4Soup wrote:

zing.
Fixed. You don't have to be older to enjoy it, but it helps when you've got empathy for some of the characters through some of your own experiences. I'm sure I would have still found it quite funny prior to having kids, and probably touching as well, but the added dimension of having your own kids helps w/ the depth of the movie, as does currently enduring another pregnancy. Just a timing thing.Eldu wrote:

Ellen Page is very cute and I'd definitely hit it, but she just has to hide her hands. One thing I noticed when seeing Juno was that she has kind of manly hands. Her fingers are thick and aren't so smooth, plus they got really red sometimes. For me, even the slightest of things can be a major turn-off (like very minor things with nose, hands, eyes, etc.)
It was good. Not quite as good as I expected but still funny. Got a little too sappy at the end for me. Almost falls into the category of chick flick but not quite.
Yes almost, still funny though.Ajax_the_Great1 wrote:
