After taking my wireless mouse out to use on my dads laptop, I used my rollerball on my computer (That I keep for spare if batteries run out on Wireless) and I realised how really bad it is. It's amazing to see how much better mice have advanced. o.O
No real point to this thread, apart from a half arsed attempt to spark up memories from people who had rollerballs.

yeh, i used to think my rollerball mouse was ok.

Then i bought a MX1000.

Now im on a PC using a dell rollerball, and it really does suck dick.

I used to love my logitech trackball. My friends couldnt figure out how I played BF2 with it though. I ended up replacing it with a G5 laser mouse ( the wife hated using the trackball )

I remember at my school the rollerball mouses used to be glued shut because kids used to steal the balls and throw them at each other. Bare in mind rollerballs are lead, coated in a thin layer of rubber.

used an early model laser mouse wireless in 2004 and its sucked so bad (latency). Never used a newer laser mouse. Using a 5$ ball mouse

I remember back when I started high school (2003) all the school mice were ball mice and the thicko's in the class would spend hours in computing trying to pry them loose (the staff had glue the mice shut)
