Is there anywhere the G7 is in stock? Since it came back, Newegg and many other places have it labeled as out of stock.

If anybody can find a place with it in stock no matter where (obviously US based), I'd be really grateful.

Thanks!

The batteries last for about 8 hours with intensive usage for me. When I only use it a bit (like selecting videos from a folder), it lasts for days.

Yeah i have a G7 also it usually lasts me about a day (i share a computer with my brother) so it is in use quite frequently, and it gives you a warning when your battery is about to die so you can expect it. This mouse really is teh sex.

I have a G7, as far as cordless mouses go, they are the best in my mind..

Sure, the batteries are a pain, but at least they are rechargeable, give you a warning when they are low, and takes less then 5 seconds to change.

I've looked, haven't been able to find any that are below 70.

Precisely why I want it. My desk won't allow me to use a cordless unless it's one longass cord, and I just like wireless mice better.

I think the MX518 is better, sure its a cable mouse, but I think they're more reliable as theyre not suceptible to interference, and dont experiance lag.  The MX518 also has more buttons (the G7 has only one on the side, the MX518 has two) and on the G7 the sensitivity buttons are right next to each other, whereas on the MX518 they are separated by the rollerwheel, so theres no danger of pressing the wrong one.  And youre not going to need the 2000 dpi setting it can go up to.

I don't care. This thread isn't about the MX518. This is about the G7 and the G7 only and if you're not going to help, don't fucking post. K? <3

I have a G7 mouse also. And as far as people say that it lags and other stuff like that, it doesn't. I just periodically look at the battery indicator light on the mouse. I don't use the software that came with it, the default dpi settings for me are fine, and because I don't have the software, I don't get the warning message, which I don't really need.

Chill out.  I was contributing do a discussion.  By suggesting the MX518, I suggested how you could save money and get a mouse that performs almost as well as the G7.  Is the slightly higher performance worth the higher cost?

I have a G7 and dont get any lag, the sensitivity buttons are far enough apart that you dont get any problemd and theres no chance of hitting the scroll wheel by mistake. No cable is great doesent get caught on anything! the batteries are fine too last 7 - 8 hours and you can change them in about 5 seconds. great mouse and for flying i use about 1700 dpi and now im used too it i can turn it up a bit more so you will use it too its full.

No, you weren't. I only want advice on where I can get the G7. If you'll notice, I never once asked what mouse I should get. I'm getting the G7 and that's it.

It's not the performance itself, it's the fact that it's wireless AND has the performance.

i know this thread is a little old, but when I clicked on the newegg link for the g7, it doesnt give me a price.  And when i logged in to the site, I couldnt even find the g7 unless I clicked on the link provided in this topic.  Does that mean that it is out of stock on newegg.com or am I doing something wrong?
