k, so when I first got it in October 2007 I thought 'Hey, theres not much difference.'

Now, its just a piece of shit. Just went into a game. Every 5 seconds got pinged to 200+ EVERYTIME

Grraaahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so fucking angry my brother gets a wired connection, takes the piss.

When I get my own house I'm making sure it has ethernet.

after putting up with wireless for about 8 months I went into ragemode and ripped the wireless antenna out of the back of my PC.

The store gave me a new one. Didn't make it less shit though. I've had wired internet for over a year now and it's awesome.

I've been having wireless for arround 3 years and I really like it, I don't notice any diffirence between playing wired and wireless. Also high ping all of the sudden has never occured to me.

Mine wasnt so bad, $17 SMX Router(on sale ftw) and a $30 matching usb adapter for my dekstop, held down a stedy ping on 50, 60 at most on my favorite servers, then my adapter fried out, got a new off brand one, and got massive connection issues, and the router would randomlyreboot on me. Its great when it works, but my new 75ft ethernet cable works much nicer.

Same here ... but I want a motherfucking ethernet cable. We have one, but I'm told I can plug it in anywhere seeing as we're 'converted to wireless'.

Mum has said that, because I'm draining all the wireless thanks to my gaming, she wants me to have the wired connection that my brother was meant to get. Apparently, he will get a nicer wireless USB than the one thats currently on mine, so I can has wired.
