I'd been skydiving before, but it was tandem - with someone strapped to your back so you don't fuck up. About 2 months ago for my buddy's birthday he decided he wanted to go skydiving solo - we took a 5 hour class, then jumped out solo. Once you pull your 'chute, you have guys in walkie-talkies talking you into your landing. It was fucking amazing. I would do it every weekend if it wasn't so expensive.
