If you watch a lot of sport, go plasma..Sup wrote:
LCD. Nothing else exists. Remember that!
watch alot of sports, dvds and kids cartoons.
anyone purchased one lately?
just dnt get a plasma.
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.
ok why oak
I'll think you'll find that the best TV in existence (apart from that seksy 150-inch one) is a plasma........Pioneer Elite PRO-110FD Kuro. Plasmas are still better than LCD's but probably not for very long.
i know pioneers rock (i sold tvs along time ago) plasmas show dark colors better but lcds sre catching up. these vizios are the fastest selling flat panels in n america.
In loads of ways.........have a look here http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/tvs/home-the … 306091.php.Sup wrote:

ok what about this one?
Haha, you really have no idea what you're talking about. A HDTV (1080p) will have a resolution of (usually) 1900 x 1080..Sup wrote:

Sony's X Series LCD's (1900 x 1080):

Pioneer's Kuro 50"

This is true of both plasmas and lcd tv's. LCD's tend to do very well at showing animation, for example, whereas plasma's excel at darkness, and fast moving actions, syuch as those included in sport, though some lcd's, like Sony's Bravia X series, are improving.
Ideally you want a 1080p set, with a res of 1900 x 1080, that has full HD and at least one HDMI out port.illuminati34 wrote:

* I'm not sure if you'll be able to get that for the price range you're looking in though, I'm not familiar with the US pricing.
