Hold Windows key, then press R

in Run type "cmd" (without quotes) and hit enter


your in the command prompt... now type ipconfig and then hit enter

How about "ipconfig /all", that will do the trick as well and show you your subnet, gateway, MAC address, everything.

If your on Vista, then UAC does retrict some command prompt commands, and so you will have to run command prompt with administrative priviledges (may require entering administor password!) (I know ipconfig /flushdns is one, but not sure about others).

So yeah... if your looking for your internal IP, then go to cmd, type ipconfig, and enter, and it will be there. It will also be in the details section of the interface setttings in network connections.

As for your external IP address, either check your Router, or go to www.whatismyipaddress.com
