I've been really interested in the concept of playing through the campaign with other people, and I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations, or maybe some advice on what mods to avoid.
GMOD has something like that along with alot of other cool stuff
2 nights ago i download a mod called synergy which is a HL2 coop mod. you can go through the story online with other people and also play a ton of custom maps that are a ton of fun. it's an awesome mod and the funny thing is that i was coming on to bf2s to post something about it saying more people should download it. go to synergymod.net and download the windows 1.1 version.
edit: you also need to have HL2, HL2 Deathmatch, and Source SDK installed to play it. just open up the games once then install synergy and you're good to go.

Synergy + Watar Hazard chapter = WIN. (You get as many airbots as there are players :AWSM:)
I was just playing in a server with 12 other people and it was awesome. any time something would get in front of us you just hear everyone open fire and whatever was there is blown to hell.
Just downloaded Synergy... About to play.
