Getting A better internet connection!

Right now I have 256kb/s internet and I was thinking of up grading to something alot faster. Ok so the only 2 good ISP's in my area Are Telus and Shaw. They both have one package that I can afford thats compatible.

Telus

6mb/s down load
1mb/s up load
65GB limit data transfer/ month $2 Extra a GB
Free modem and wireless Gate way

Or

Shaw
$40.95/moth
5MB/s Down load
512KB/s upload
2 IP addresses
60gb data transfer/month MAX
Free modem
also Power booster Free(Makes downloads go faster?)

So which one? or just stay with my 256kb/s? or spend $96/Month for 16mb/s Fiber optic(LOL expensive but worth it I guess?(But it wonte be in my are for another year or so))

they should have some cheaper options...i know they do in my area...

and i figured i would let you know that the way internetz are measured is not in MB/sec...its in megabits. so 6megabit download means you can d/l at about 1MB/second, probably less.

and bandwidth limits suck. avoid at all cost...65gb is not that much at all...well, for me at least...i download a lot of music (not the illegal type...concert recordings and DVDs, etc.), and im sure that alone is close to 50gb/month.
