Many a times, video games will make snarky, under-the-table references to horrors. However, no game has made a more flagrant insult than Team Fortress 2.
The Pyro as he's known, is a strange class. He wears an all-rubber suit with a facemask, and carries around a flamethrower and an ax. He cackles while he burns his enemies, and the ax is the symbol of a serial-killer maniac.
Seems innocent enough, right? Wrong. In the 1930s, Adolf Hitler seized power of Germany. He convinced his people that the Jews were the cause of Germany's woes, and eventually started the second World War during which millions of innocents died. The word "Holocaust" means "completely burnt" in Greek.
This is the Pyro
To the right is a picture of the black uniform of the Waffen SS... all that is missing is the gas mask.
This is no coincidence. Coupled with the Pyro's burning of other players, and his obvious enjoyment of those actions, it is clear that Valve Software is a pro-Nazi corporation.
