Help Raphi to upgrade his PC!

I really need your help, I'm a total tech noob tbh. I need a new upgrade, but it needs to be cheap and good because of the following reasons:

I'm planning an america trip, so I need the moniez
I'm making a website and I don't want to end with a 2 years hosting-begging tbh.

So yeah, I've got the following specs:

Pentium 4 3,4 gh no idea processor (fucking lost the bill)

Asus P5GDC DELUXE Motherboard X
2x1gb Corsair DDR2 ram
ATI Radeon x700 pro 256mb graphics card X Max says: XFX GF8800GT ( Retail, 2x DVI, TV-Out ) 349.90 CHF (221.46 euro)
A shit 250gb hd, which is full X Max says: Western Digital WD5000AACS ( Caviar GP ) 169.90 CHF (107.53 euro)

You see, I really need an update.

Try to search for cheaper things, I want a new gfx card, I need a processor and a new hard drive. (I hope at least the mobo works :\)

Yea well, for a decent CPU you will need a new motherboard, as unfortunately the socket of that P4 is so outdated..
The GPU, well first off whats your exact budget? Second I'd say any upgrade from that is worth it, be it a 7600, 7900 or an ATi X1950 (assuming you don't want to spend shitloads on an 88xx card). Harddrives aren't hard to look for, just get a decent Samsung Spinpoint or WD drive of desired size.

I want a 8800 something, the graphics card should be decent cause I don't want to change it in the next 2-3 years.

edit: My budget depends, I'll see if the price is realistic, but now I also have to get a new mobo.. omg

You're pretty well tapped on the processor. The P5GDC Deluxe is socket 775, but doesn't support dual core Pentium 4 (other than Celeron based) and does not support C2D chips in any fashion. I know this because we had several computers in the office that used this very same board and I have crawled all over the Asus web site looking for a BIOS update that would support newer chips, even if just the Pentium D line, and that was a big no go.

Sorry man. I'm the last one to ask about hardware outside of the US, because I just don't know. As for suggestions, I think an ATi Radeon 3850 may be your best bet for performance Vs. cost. You've already got 2GB of RAM, but maybe consider another GB of RAM (3GB total) for the future, and the fact that they are all but giving it away right now.

Look, I have 700 pounds. The problem? I dont wanna fucking use them all for playing computer games, my website and america is waiting for me so you can give me every link, ima put a list up with the best offers and if you find a better one I'll edit it. So far we've got a Asus 8800GT (others are out of stock/more expensive, 3870's don't seem to be worth it here), a 500GB WD (way cheaper than the rest), and a TT toughpower 600W (smallest decent PSU, no sense to get a cheap & crappy one)

This is a good motherboard. (No SLi support though)
A good CPU
And the gfx card here (In the meanwhile let me say this site sucks balls, overpriced too)
And a decent HDD 500GB (just get a similar samsung spinpoint of any desired size for your preference
In the meanwhile let me say again that site sucks huge balls... Can't even see if those are spinpoints or not. But yea, you get the idea (get a better retailer though)
