Lost > everything else on television, in every category. Prison Break, Heroes, and 24 are almost unwatchable compared to Lost. Not just the poor writing and shitty acting, but the production qualities just suck. Lost is as epic as a big-budget Hollywood adventure flick, with a best selling novels quality of writing, on TV format. Lost blows every other show out of the water, because, quite frankly, its not a TV show.

People declared it dead because it was going too slow... wrong. People declared it too confusing.... their shallow dipshits. Lost is in its 4th year of existence and still going strong, maybe the strongest its ever been going. The whole infrastructure of the show has been rooted up and shaken to the core.

If you've seen Lost and think prison break, 24, and heroes are better shows, I pity you, to be honest.

Did you start from the start or did you watch a random episode with them? It's one of those shows that's really hard to pick up mid-run.

i remember watching the season finale like 2 yrs ago. shit was a fucking joke; i swear there were more commercials than actual show time.

Well no wonder you didn't enjoy it if you started with a season finale.

I got my roommate into the show during the summer/fall/winter hiatus, so she got to watch 3 seasons on DVD. So I said "should we tivo the premier or watch it live?" Then I said we'd watch it live so she could see how fucking annoying it was on broadcast with all the commercials. I think they put a lot of commercials towards the start/middle of the show but don't have as many at the end. So the commercial time is about 16 mins (or something) but they're closer together at the start, so it seems like more. It annoyed me so I kept a rough time count once and the commercial time was about the same as other hour longer dramas, they just seem to space them differently.

I wouldn't say it's easy, especially now that we're at the 4th season. I mean really, think of all the stuff you would have to explain. Everything about Dharma, the tail end survivors, Desmond and Penny, the numbers, etc.
