I have a clan-mate on Vista with a E6600, 4GB of RAM, and a 7600GS and he's always complaining about lag.
On low-medium it's fine, but medium-high you will lag in firefights and such.

When i ran COD4 with my 7600 i ran it all on low with just 2x AA. I got around 40-50 FPS. Since you have a dual core it may vary. But yes it will run it. Just run it on low for the smoothness.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
