Wow quite a film but I can't remember the last time I saw so many contradictive statements in a 10 minute piece of film!!!
1. It's not o.k to eat Kangaroo meat but it's ok to eat Whale meat (by the way the chick looked like she was REALY enjoying that nice bit of blubber!)
2.The cruel treatment of the babies - hmm mothers been shot so do you leave the orphan to die over a day or two - or be eaten alive -or do you put it out of it's misery as quickly as possible... tricky one.
3.Dingos on the vulnerable list (quote from wiki giving definition)
IUCN categories include:
* Extinct: the last remaining member of the species had died, or is presumed beyond reasonable doubt to have died. Examples: Thylacine, Dodo, Passenger Pigeon
* Extinct in the wild: captive individuals survive, but there is no free-living, natural population. Examples: Alagoas Curassow
* Critically endangered: faces an extremely high risk of extinction in the immediate future. Examples: Ivory-billed Woodpecker, Arakan Forest Turtle, Javan Rhino
* Endangered: faces a very high risk of extinction in the near future. Examples: Cheetah, Blue Whale, Snow Leopard, African Wild Dog
* Vulnerable: faces a high risk of extinction in the medium-term. Examples: Gaur, Lion, Wolverine
* Least Concern: no immediate threat to the survival of the species. Examples: Brown Rat, Nootka Cypress
and If I remember right it wasn't so long ago (a year or two i think) that humbacked whales were on the very same list and now they want to kill 50 a year...btw Is every whaling boat checkd on return to see how many they are bringing back to Japan. I'm guessing no.
One thing though
Racism in Australia...
(quote3d from posts)
And the reason people don't treat aboriginals the same is becuase 70% of the time they threaten the lives of Any other human in Australia, or they are out at Center Link cheating the tax man, sniffing paint, and getting in shit with the law.
So STFU... fucking greens.....
the aborigines are lazy dole bludgers, (generalising of course) theyre just lke, meh lets go get drunk off petrol fumes, and harrass people with knives and complain about "their land" which they did nothing about when it mattered.
no offense intended to the people who do the right thing
look at the native americans, i dont know much about them but they were warriors and they did lots of good stuff[
Aborigines have nothing to do with whaling, and its just the Japanese slinging mud as Australia's past.
Don't you think that you're playing into their hands with posts like this. That is the sort of attitude that tey're trying to use to give themselves the moral high ground they can then use to justify their 'scientific research'. No?
Sorry for bad quoting but but it's really late and and i'm a total noob when it comes to bb code
