kaspersky tbh

He isnt asking what he should use instead of Norton 360, he's asking for help with improving his performance. I dont think he needs to hear soomething along the lines of "use **** instead, Norton sucks!"

You can run bf2 fine with Norton. I do, and I have 1 GB of ram.clogar wrote:

i also don't have the best computer of all time lol
Seriously man... get AVG or Avira. Avira is cool because not only is it free, but last I checked it had like a 4MB RAM usage when just sitting there.
anyone know if bitdefender is good?
it's probably not.clogar wrote:

Norton is a virus itself

I've heard good reviews but again dude... if you don't want it take a toll on your system, AVG or Avira are the way to go. I'm sure you're thinking "Pff, free anti-virus, couldn't even catch a cold!" but AVG and Avira regularly do well on anti-virus tests and trials.clogar wrote:

AVG Free Edition is pretty good but I think Avast is better. It seems too update more often sometimes twice a day but at least once a day.
I have seen it ranked in the top 3 among all Anti-Viruses in more than a few places and best of all its free like AVG.

I use Symantec which is owned by Norton, and I have never had a problem. If your anti-virus is using too much ram, turn it off before you play and turn it back on when your done.
