  • Halp! RivaTuner won't go over 600MHz! (Slider as far right as it goes)

Anyone got an idea of how to fix this? I know the 7600GS can perform at 620+MHz, but RivaTuner won't let me.

Halp!
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Have you tried nTune? Doesn't ATI tools also work with nvidia stuff? I heard that it did, not sure though.

nTune is shit. Tried ATitool once, it fucked me up.

Uncheck the Enable Driver level overclocking box, and then hit apply, then enable it again and hit apply. Then reboot when it asks you to.

Just a guess, I dunno...

No, because nTune is complete and utter SHIT! It can't even save an overclocking setting between reboots for fuck's sake! On top of that, it uses lots of resources.

Try nTune.

If it works in nTune, then the problem is with RivaTuner. If it doesn't work. Then it could be something else, card, drivers, registry entries, etc.
