Alright I went to update my display drivers on ATI's site because I thought well why not...I download em, uninstall all my ATI stuff, install the new stuff and I get told I have to have net framework 2.0 for the Catalyst Control Center to work. So it doesn't install it! I got the core drivers installed, but no controller. I have to have net framework 1.1 because it is needed for me to run BF2CC to admin for our server (So I'm told)
So I see I have three options:
1. Install net framework 2.0 and get up-to-date on the CCC and Drivers without being able to admin the server.
2. Stick with my net framework 1.1, revert back to an older version of CCC and Drivers.
3. Stick with net framework 1.1 KEEP the current display drivers, but install an older version of CCC and hope for no issues.
So, is there any thing wrong with running older drivers?
Is there anything wrong with running updated drivers but a different version of the Catalyst Control Center?
Is net framework 1.1 outdated or sluggish compared to 2.0?
