That's gotta be some serious misreadings, since the computer is still running... Right?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Well, umm, fact is, that this computer doesn't have a second core...

Yep. That one.

I'm more concerned about the -16v than the "VCore"...

Oh yeah, good point. I know nothing about OC'ing except you didn't want to go higher than 1.5V and I saw 1.9 and was like whoa.

Never trust software for accurate voltage readings. Very very rarely are they accurate. Use your BIOS.

By the way, your PC would not be on if the +12V was really 5v... lol.

I know, this topic was mainly for lulz.

BTW, my BIOS is crap at that, it shows "VCore: OK, 12V: OK" etc.

Btw, don't the readings display 2 cores because that is a HT P4? Other than that I'd say it's fairly innacurate

HT is basically emulating 2 cores. It is only a single core chip.

Yes. It's one core with one voltage and two threads.

Yea I know but it should show 2 cores in reading apps AFAIK.
