I have a computer with Windows Vista on. Recently installed it. Made a password to log on, but now I can't remember it. Is there any program that I can use to find out what the password was? I don't want to reset it and make a new one... I saw a lot of programs that can do that, but no one that will find the one I used.

Any idea?

I'm not really sure but can't you log in on Safe Mode and change the password to something you will remember?

Never used any but apparently the top one works well.

Password suck.

Find an old computer, d/l it to that, stick it on floppy, and run it on computer you wish to find passwords.

Worked in '98, dunno if it'll bypass Vista security, but it's worth a shot. Google it.

Oh yeah, may have to start in safe mode to start password suck.

There can only be one reason I can think of that you would not want to reset a password you dont know..... its not yours to know.

I have a few password changing tools on my Hiren Boot CD that work great on XP, but I'm not sure if they work for Vista.
