Okay, I've recently started to record a lot of my in-game time and after a good few days of recording, I've gone to open the files to no avail.

About a month ago I could use the same program to open these files and it would work fine, however now I'm having issues. When I go to open the files, I get nothing but a black screen with no sound, then when I exit the program I get this:

I've searched online, nothing has helped. This error also appears with 2 other media players. I'd really like the fraps footage because I got some quite nice TVM shots.

I don't come here a lot anymore.

This is usually a sign on your RAM going out. Or possibly the hard drive, if it's because of swapping. But I'd say RAM. I've gotten that numerous times with either bad and/or too overclocked RAM.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
