When it comes to STI's, the "Infection" part makes it seem like it's just a minor thing and it'll go away quickly.
The "Disease" part of STD makes it sound a lot more serious and that it's there to stay.

Hm. I wouldn't say the same thing about here. In my sex ed classes, we learned about puberty and anatomy. From what I learned in school, I can tell you that it's normal to get erections and that girls have ovaries. And they didn't teach much at all about contraceptives because they were so busy pushing the abstinence until marriage thing. The only thing we learned about STDs was one day they showed us a bunch of disgusting pictures of some to scare us into not having sex.avman633 wrote:
