Exactly, the groundpounders make it possible, but if there ain't no engineers, there ain't nothing to support the infantry, hence I'd say engineers are just about the most important, they manage to keep everything up and running to make sure the infantry can do it's job properly.

Experienced Loaders can get a new round in within 4 seconds.  Average Time is 7 seconds.  GG.

This thread needs some Australia.

I was reading Wiki, and it says that the average SASR soldier can earn roughly $100 000 AU. Thats fuckin heaps for what they do...compared to normal infantry, who get like $30k, which is shit. Although some get trades etc.

Ive got an eye on the Army, although I'm not really sure on what I want to do. Ive got some options though:
- Officer, as infantry or something else.
- Armour, do something with tanks
- Blackhawk pilot
- Comms & IT for the Army
- Maybe Intelligence.

Officer would be sweet for rank, and would also have some future as a leader in the army, although it would mean life dedication, which Im not too sure I want (Also, some reg in the army told me that a corporal in the Australian army who got a transfer to say the US Army, would then become a Sergeant because of the more extensive training that we get as a soldier. Not sure if it applies to officers but it would be cool) . Armour, to trample shit and blow shit up. Blackhawk because there is a civilian use after the army, and its a good skill to have as a direct entry officer pilot into the army, although the maximum rank for that is Major (hehe). Comms & IT, just for the civilian jobs at hand although the Indians are taking over pretty fast. And Intel because it would be kickass working with secret and cool shit...but Im not too sure what benefit there would be after the army.

I reckon that if I went for the military, it would probs be the RM. Harder to get in training wise etc, but as far as I know they have better equipment than the Army, which is pretty dated (20 year old Land Rovers, old radios etc). If not them then I would go in for a foreign military, US or Australian maybe. Although tbh I wouldn't mind being a paratrooper , basic requirement for SF training as well.
