YES! A plethora of information exists, plus the book is awesome.

If you do a report on Catcher in the Rye though, I will kill you.

World War Z. Very fun to read and you can definitely write 7 pages on zombie-preparedness and suggestions on how the US government can have a plan ready in case the dead rise.

Best book I was ever forced to read.  Easily.  The symbolism in that book is worth at least 7 pages.

Whoever said "All Quiet on the Western Front" is smart too.  Great book.

Khalil Gibran - The Prophet
Howard Zinn - A People's History of the United States
Eric Schlosser - Fast Food Nation

If you want, I can take a picture of my bookshelf and recommend books I have read and loved.

Mobey Dick is a decent read if you can get through the fist few chapters, and there are a lot of critical reviews. Plus there is a metaphor on every page so you can easily fill a paper without a heap of B.S.

Or you could read this obscure book called Mapping Fate.

and then send me a copy of your paper.

it would make the paper more fun, and it would allow for more creative/imaginative thought; but the teacher will most likely view it as copping out.

What can I say?  Classics.

1984
Lord of the Flies
Fahrenheit 451
Animal Farm
Catcher in the Rye

etc.

All Quiet on the Western Front was a good book, I have to say.  But I would have trouble writing that many pages on it.
