i got the Gateway XHD3000 30" with the 6 vid inputs and PIP, etc.  Built in speaker sounds suprisingly good for what it is.  it's about 1.5 - 2 feet from my face but i don't have to turn my head to see stuff as some people think when you have larger monitor.  colors look good, response is good.  i use it also for work where i do alot of coding - really handy to have the extra real estate.  not cheap but the fact that it had multiple inputs sold me.

supposedly Dell is coming out with a next gen 30" with display port interface.  the new nvidia cards coming out in feb/march look like they will support display port.  The gateway does not have this adapter though.

hm, 24" will fit I guess... But I dont want to spend too much money on a tft (yes I know)... The Samsung is somewhat 249€ in 22", I´ll go for that thingy then...
