Can an 8800GT fit in this

I have very little money and I thought that this was good value.

Now this is what I'm planning to do with it when i get it.

After a month I'm upgrading to 4GB of RAM

and after that im saving for an 8800 GT

But my only concern is would the card fit in that case?

Yes it should, but why don´t you wait a bit longer and buy a system with a 8800 GT all ready in it, instead of buying this one and throw the 8600 out in a few month ?

My friend has this card and hes playin all my current games at high everything and my max res is 1280x1024 anyways so... I've been playing bf2 on low at 800x600 since i got it ages ago and im fucking dying for an upgrade.

i know the feeling, brother. i almost bought early, too. but then i decided to wait, since new technology was just around the corner. a smart choice indeed. save your money, and play on low. you see better on low anyways, as the dynamic light and shadows hides a lot.

thats true... but playing bf2 on low makes me cry... max res and high everything ftw

Besides BF2 runs well all high with 8600 (1280x1022, No AA)

If it doesnt fit, cut off some of the gold pins so it fits into a standard PCI slot.
