When I load up the game in the menu it says Im at version number 1.1.2696-528.0.  Isnt that the old version?

I played on a server that had to have been 1.2 though cus I could see the UAV flying around and stuff.

i made the same experience... all new features but not a 1.2xxx version number... maybe the version number was 1.1.12xxx before? however the patch is running and helis now seem to be "manageable"... ) i love the stinger...

I wouldnt really worry about it, It normally takes a while for the number to change after patching.

Yup,same here.
All changes there,SF has also been patched(no unlocks there though) but the main screen still shows version 1.12xyxyxyx,under community/custom games BF is shown as version 1.2,SF as version 1.12.

I just came from a SF-server,no more bunnyhopping there,so it seems to be patched properly and you only get the 2 new unlocks for regular BF2,not SF.
BF2 servers work aswell,the new sniper rocks the house.

So I guess it's just a "cosmetical flaw"....
