I'm gonna have to say a Saitek Eclipse 1 or 2. I think they both look and perform good. For the mouse I'm gonna have to say either any later Razor model or a Logitech G5.

I dont like razer mouses. They´re too small.

I use a Zmerc keyboard. http://www.ideazon.com/us/products/mercstealth.asp with the added keys to the side it's alot more comfortable for me to play.
and the good ole mx 518 mouse.

G15 + Mx518 is what I have.
There is no "best". It is entirely personal preference.
Personally, I love my G5 and Saitek Eclipse. Though, I have never tried a different gaming mouse/keyboard, so that opinion is entirely biased. I have no reason, though, to try any other ones... because I love what I have.

For me, the best is my Saitek Eclipse (II if you have it) and my Razer Copperhead. Of course, the G15 and G5 are pretty good as well.

Except for the mouse bit, I must say I truly love this Zboard merc, great for gaming. Currently using a microsoft basic optical mouse 1.0A which i "liberated" from my old high school ( i could see the plastic tag attatching it to the comp and there was a pair of scissors on the desk right in fron of it so I deemed it a gift.)
