So I just got Opera to give it a chance over my beloved FF.

One quick question.

What is the shortcut for opening speed-dial?

According to the demo vid on the Opera site it's "ctrl+#" but that doesn't work.

Any other way?

Nah, that opens a new tab.

I want to make the current window go back to the speed-dial page.

When you open a new tab, or close the last tab it should go to speed dial unless you've messed with the settings, in which case it's you who's set the shortcut and you need to find it again.

You can access the individual pages of the speed dial by using CTRL +1-9 at any time.
