Well considering they feed us, I find that somewhat of a retarded argument.Snorkelfarsan wrote:
This is one of the reasons I try to avoid eating meat. And not only is horrible towards the animals, but so much food is used to feed them, food that could be used to feed ourselves.
No it's not, because if we wouldnt be eating all of the meat we could use the food for ourselves.The_Mac wrote:

Depends how you define good. I define "Good" as making me happier because it's tasty. Thus, the more meat the better.Snorkelfarsan wrote:

And besides, meat is not really good for us anyway, except for fish. Atleast not compared to fruit and veggies.
Oh shut up, please.Snorkelfarsan wrote:

Uh...you're telling me to shut up, and yet you just admitted that you don't know anything about the subject yourself? And then you claim you do?Bf2-GeneralArnott wrote:

Do you know what they get fed?
No, nor do i, but i have a feeling its not "meat" its genetically engineered chickens eating GE food, with large doses of antibiotics, then the damaging bacteria like slamonella become resistant, then the people catch salmonella, then the antibiotics given to the sick people don't work, then epidemics start among the chickens and other animals.
Well i am talking about all the crops that are being fed to cows. The crops we could eat.Bf2-GeneralArnott wrote:

They are fed basicly drugs, and only the strongest survive. I can say alot on this subject, but i can't be bothered. If you really want to know, go and have a look. Oh, wait, you can't, the "farmers" lock their "farms" really well, they don't want us to know what we are eating.
Instead of being an absolute dick and only react on the fact that he has pwned himself, you could also react on the fact that he's making a statement towards your argument.The_Mac wrote:

Brilliant counterargument, are you sure you're not on your school's debate team?
I see what you did there...well I don't actually. Care to make sense today?Snorkelfarsan wrote:

Ermm....so what does this have to do with feeding yourself. You're attempting to use a red herring to lure the conversation the wrong way. Sorry, but you're trying to tell me that eating meat is bad and then you're talking about how we need to eat all the meat for ourselves? And besides, meat is not really good for us anyway, except for fish. Atleast not compared to fruit and veggies.
Who indoctrinated you into saying that?Snorkelfarsan wrote:

I'm not one.Ty wrote:
I could mop the floor with any one of you veggies, you know why? 'Cause I eat red meat. Always will eat red meat. Makes you strong instead of a pansy.
