best headset w/mic ?

Hey guys,

I have posted here before asking advice on hardware and have always gotten the best advice from here.

My headset broke just a minute ago and I cant enjoy BF2.

This is the headset that just broke and I didnt really like it.

I need to buy a new headset w/mic and want to know what you all suggest?

I want the headset to be comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time but surround my ears, completely if possibly but also offer a decent fold down mic that works and has minimal distortion to my team mates.

I have about $100 US to spend but can go as high as $150 US if the quality is there.

The only ones I cant find are these two, please, tell me what you think.

i use the my playstation 2 headset, it is USB after all, nice the nicest but has an incredibly long cord and volume & on/off control

I have the Razer Barracuda... if you can get them for like 80$ or less do it. The only reason i got these ones over others is because i had a giftcard for a tech store where I'm from that had nothing of use to me... cost 150$ but with the gift card i got them for 80

how hard was it to setup those razer head phones?

it says it has 8 drivers for optimal gaming sound, that sounds complicated.

Drivers are about as simple as "click -> install"

That depends on some factors:

A) Are you on Vista
B) Are you a PC "noob"
C) Is your name 'Jenspm'

'yes' on 2 of the above, and you will have problems.

edit - I have the Icemata Siberias, and they are eff tee dubya.
