Uhh, it would probably be best to just build a whole new one from scratch really, it wouldn't really be worth trying to update it.

Edit: I suppose it depends on what you want to use it for really, but if it's gaming then yeah, sell that and put the money towards building/buying a new one.

Hm, honestly every upgrade to this old system would be nothing but a waste of money.

The CPU is way too weak for actuall games, not to mention upcoming games.
The Memory is prolly DDR1 266/333 MhZ, forgett about it.
Graphicscard is three-four generations too old.
HardDrive is ok to store some music and stuff.

I suggest you build a complete new rig with the following hardware.

CPU: Intel Core2Duo (149€-239€) or Core2Quad (209€-899€), I´d go for a C2D E8400 (184€)
Memory: 2048MB DDR2 800Mhz, I´d go for Geil Black Dragonseries (56€)
Graphics: Nvidia Gefore 8*** series, I´d go for 8800GTS 512MB (280€)
Harddrive: well, some SATAII 250GB 8MB/8000RPM (50-70€)

with all the other stuff you MUST HAVE such a system is around 850-900€ and totally ready to play games in decent resolutions and mostly high settings.
