As to the OP: Interesting proposition for a series of threads, but they need to be a bit more plausible. For example, in this situation, Australia and Canada would side with the UK, being part of the Commonwealth and all. Many others, but that's just a for instance...

a more realistic thing (as opposed to england launching nukes) would be the US launching a nuke on someone else. maybe iran or north korea? who knows.
