Take can of polish.  Light can on fire for about 5 seconds.  Take a handkerchief or something and wet it a little.  Dip the wet cloth into the melted wax.  Now do small circles for a while over the toes of the shoes.

That or buy some parade gloss.

Or if you are sneaky enough, put some mop-and-glow on the toes of the shoe right before inspection.

hell yeah!  but dont leave it on all day.  that shit collects dust.

and you better use spit.  Cotton balls are good too.  But only more as a buffer than an applicator.  the cotton fibers go all over the place if you do it wrong.

Lincoln Wax or Leather Luster

Lincoln Wax--really good conventional polish
Leather Luster--basically shiney-shoe paint (which works VERY well...but can damage the leather if used improperly)

...or just get some Corframs.  Plastic stays shiney, unless you scratch it.

Edit:  I use a piece of a T-shirt cloth as an applicator and another as a buffer.  It works fairly well.  (I got POed at cheap cotton balls after screwing up a couple times.)

Zoomies shine our boots too!...at least until we get some ABUs in stock.

Kiwi parade gloss is nice, but scuffs quickly IMO.

Kiwi Parade Gloss FTW! I have done a lot of boot polishing during my military days. So a really good way to get it shiny as hell is to use a bit of wax like usmarine said, and try mixing it with parade gloss. Then take the melted mix poor it over/rub it on your boots/shoes, and then keep rubbing in small circles with cold water until desired gloss is achieved.
Although you can also skip the wax and just go with parade gloss, in this case, start of with somekind of cloth and rub in a basic layer of parade gloss all over your boot, then go on and use small pieces of cotton and very cold water and start rubbing in small circles. Add aditional parade gloss as you see fit.

I don't think you have time to do it in one night tbh.   However, use some saddle soap and remove the old wax.  A lot of people do not do this, but I think it gives a better shine.  Unless you have another pair of shoes, I would not go fucking around with your only pair.  I would recommend kiwi parade gloss for a quick fix and decent shine.

It does, but it takes quite a while to get the base built back up. If you've got an inspection tomorrow, don't fuck around with it. I've always used Kiwi Parade Gloss and a little tube of liquid called "Glisten". Those two items, along with marine's heat method, will put a mirror finish on your shoes. Be sure not to neglect your sole edges. Honor Guard edge dressing from Kiwi ftw.

Use a blowtorch and a metal spoon. Heat the spoon super hot then go around the front and melt the dents away so that it looks really smooth. Then apply polish to the boot immediately, rub in real good. Gets a finish like glass. It takes 2 or 3 goes to get the bulled effect (well it did for me anyway). Like someone else in the thread said, get a spare pair for parade and another pair for normal duties. Just use your parade ones as they will be super shiney all the time, just in need of a dust off after being slung in the bottom of you locker.

Parade gloss always worked well for me while we were all hanging around, ironically however just as we were going on parade it would start to lose its shine! Very annoying, the suggestion usmarine does the business.

I actually miss polishing my boots, I found it relaxing!!

Say don't they use the new tan colored boots now? The Suade ones, or do they use the black leather for training and parade?
